Required. Format depends on the primary AI — e.g. 8/12/13/14-digit GTIN, 13-digit GLN, 18-digit SSCC.

Qualifier AIs (optional)

Qualifiers ride in the URL path after the primary, e.g. /10/LOT1/21/SR1. Only certain qualifiers are permitted per primary key.

Data attributes (optional)

Data attributes ride on the query string, e.g. ?17=261231&3100=500. Common examples: 17 (expiry), 11 (production date), 30 (count).
